Before: This backyard space in the heart of Tulsa was ready for a fantastic entertaining space for the homeowners and some world class BBQ. A few things stood in our way aside from the narrow entry to their property-the property is a tight squeeze and the new structure would not fit with today’s property encroachment ordinances. Luckily the homeowners were up for the challenge and we were able to get a variance through the City of Tulsa to complete their structure.
After: Stained cedar beams with the matte black hardware compliment the newly painted garage door. The cool green color matches the home perfectly and makes this fun entertaining space stick out among the bland. After architect renderings, permits through City of Tulsa, and the City of Tulsa Board of Adjustment-This project involved: Demo and excavation with tree removal. Replacing (2) sides of garage siding. Plumbing for bar sink. Recessed LED lights with dimmer, exterior kitchen outlets and ceiling fan. Concrete pad, approx 16×18 ft with piers. Covered structure with cedar beams. New door into garage. Outdoor kitchen with storage under bar and granite tops. Sidewalk to home. Gutters on (1) side of garage and new structure. Garage scones. Painted new siding and garage door. As well as ceiling/trim of structure. Stained beams. Sod.
